If you notice any changes in your condition, please tell your doctor. You should not use Voltaren XR for longer than 6 weeks without medical advice. You should not use Voltaren XR for longer than the manufacturer recommends. Do not use the product for longer than your doctor advises. If the product shows signs of irritation, or if the condition gets worse or lasts longer than 4 days, contact your doctor. You should let your doctor know if you develop any of the following: dark urine, yellowing of the skin or eyes. The product may get broken down by the liver, so it is not expected that other drugs will affect the broken down. Contact your doctor if the condition gets worse or lasts longer than 3 days. You should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this product. The manufacturer has provided a list of contraindications. Do not use the product if you have: active peptic ulcers; a known or suspected severe allergic reaction to diclofenac, other NSAIDs, or to other active substances; or if you are taking other medicines containing diclofenac or aspirin. Do not use the product in children younger than 18 years. You should talk to your doctor if you are using the product to treat a serious ulcer. This product does not last longer than 4 weeks. You should not use the product if your condition does not get better or lasts longer than 3 days. You should not use this product if you are allergic to diclofenac, other NSAIDs, or to other active substances, if you have diabetes, if you are pregnant, or if you are breast-feeding.
The following reactions have been reported with Voltaren XR: rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, diarrhea, constipation, and vomiting. If you have any questions about your medication, you should talk to your doctor.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. Voltaren XR should not be used in women who are or could be pregnant while using this product. Voltaren XR passes into the breast milk and may pass into the breast milk in the infant. You should not breast-feed while using this product. Use the lowest effective dose and for the shortest time needed. Do not stop using the product suddenly. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using Voltaren XR.
